Healthy Homes Standards
The Healthy Homes Standards were introduced by the New Zealand Government in 2019, with the aim of improving the quality of rental properties and protecting the health and wellbeing of tenants. These standards set minimum requirements for heating, insulation, ventilation, draughts, moisture ingress, and drainage in rental properties. Our team of experienced property managers are knowledgeable about the Healthy Homes Standards and can provide advice and support to landlords to ensure that their properties meet the required standards. We can arrange for assessments of rental properties to identify any areas where improvements are needed, and we can work with landlords to develop plans to bring their properties up to standard. We also keep up-to-date with any changes and we communicate these changes to landlords and tenants as needed. We believe that it's important to ensure that both landlords and tenants are aware of their responsibilities under the standards, and we provide ongoing support and guidance to help them comply.

We understand that contamination can pose a significant health risk to tenants, and we are committed to ensuring that our managed properties are safe and healthy places to live.Providing guidance and support we encourage landlords to be vigilant in having their properties tested if there is any suspicion that there could be any traces of meth from previous owners or tenants. We believe that it's important to be proactive in addressing the issue of methamphetamine in rental properties, and we work with landlords and tenants to ensure that our managed properties are safe and healthy places to live.If you have any concerns about meth contamination in a rental property, please don't hesitate to contact us.
